Michigan Community Bankers Service Company (MCBS) and Community Banking Initiatives (CBI) are subsidiaries of Community Bankers of Michigan. These entities exist to bring “Best in Class” products and services, focused on increasing revenue and controlling expense, to members of CBM.
Guided by the CBM and MCBS Boards of Directors and CBI Products and Services Committee, MCBS identifies and reviews products, services and providers that assist member banks in maintaining their competitive position in the marketplace and improving the bottom line. Before the MCBS board awards any program an exclusive partnership, it is subjected to a rigorous due diligence process, like those performed by our member banks, including site visits. Due diligence data is compiled and is made available to all member banks who are considering doing business with our partners. This is an on-going process and data is updated annually by CBM staff.
